General
A variant of the M113G3/A3, the M113G3 Repair normally operates as part of a company maintenance team along side an M88 ARV or Wisent. As with these heavier vehicles, the M113G3 Repair can perform expedited repairs to other damaged vehicles and may attempt to recover or tow vehicles of equal or lesser weight (rev. 4.000). Repairs can be accomplished by moving close (75m) to the unit which requires aid and then waiting. Repairs will automatically commence within a couple of minutes. As with the M113G3-DK, the M113G3 Repair may be equipped with various remote weapon stations including the Lemur, M151 Protector (NL), or M153 Protector replacing the commander's 0.50 cal.
The M113G3 Repair is fully modeled and crew-able at the Commander's (F7), Gunner's (F6 if equipped with a RWS), and Driver's (F9) positions, but carries no troops.
Beginning with revision 4.156 the M113G3-DK Repair may be equipped with the Diehl Active Vehicle Protection System (AVePS) to enhance protection against RPG and ATGM threats.
