Crusty
This thread is a short AAR of a visit to Tidworth for three members of Uk Armour, kindly arranged by CR2_Commander. Firstly we had a good climb over and in this lovely CR2, and Hedge looks like he could get used to being a cab rat, and it looks like my car is about to get the good news.

Members Retro
I take it you made thousands of photographs and hours of video footage? Maybe a couple internal measurements as well?
Crusty
We also had a bit of a play in the Simulators, First the PTT, which I think stands for PART TASK TRAINER, then there's the PGTE, which stands for PRECISION GUNNERY TRAINING EQUIPMENT, both were great fun to have a play with. Hedgehog
Not on this particular occasion. We did have a go at turning the turret round!! Slow, slow, slow, too fast  They were in some need of TLC.... I found a couple of bits of brass and a Twix wrapper in that driver's hole.

Invader ZIM
Very cool guys, I know I would have had a ton of fun if I could have even seen a real Challenger tank up close for real.

hoggydog
It's only been 6 years. (besides the more we mention the CR2, the more the subliminal thoughts will get into Ssnakes head that the model in SB needs finishing)

CR2_Commander
It doesn't seem that long ago! I have hung up my tank coveralls. I'm part of 3 (Civ) Div now. Still have a hand inside defence at least.

The MoD spend millions upgrading some of them. So yep your probably right they will scrap them. LoL
