cj95
Been playing at Steel Beast ever since version one way back in the day and loving every minute of it.Problem is, I stink at it.Im not sure what a good performance is for the instant action scenario, but typically I can manage no more than 4-5 kills before either dying in return, or suffering some sort of main gun damage that prevents continuing.Best score ever, I think was maybe 9 kills but some of those came from artillery.Whats typical for you guys, and dont spare my feelings.
Scrapper_511
Well I must admit I managed somewhere over 90 kills a long time ago. Not sure if this was in original SB or SBProPE. Damn my memory sucks. Seriously, I'm worried. Whining aside, my strategy is to kill them as soon as you see them. I was able to hit a lot of em as soon as they came out of the woodline, but before long a lot were getting through to the bridge. This is the area where I got the majority of the kills. Apparently, when the entrance of the bridge gets blocked by a killed/damaged vehicle a bottleneck will result and it's easy pickins from there. Lots will try to cross the river and are easy targets too. Also, once the landscape starts to overfill with dead/disabled vehicles, the live ones end up slowing down to negotiate their way through. These are easy kills as well. This was a very nice day for me, however. I haven't managed this since. Once and a while I'll screw around with it and get the same average as you are.
MAJ_Fubar
Trust me you're not alone. Like Scrapper once, long ago, I managed to have a good day and take about 45 of the bastards, but generally the best I can do now is 5-15.

Members Ssnake
One key to success is to use the planning phase and create a series of alternate positions. Second, keep in mind that most of the enemies must cross a river, and that most of the bridges are destroyed. Prevent river crossings, and don't stay for too long in an exposed position.
ARM505
As a confidence builder (or just when messing around without the need to engage brain), just use the Bradley - if it all gets too hectic from the front, just back down and use the TOW with nothing exposed. Just remember to shoot the guys in the forest to your left every so often too. You can basically live as long as you want to.
