cata
I have been building a map for a while now and have put it aside while we wait for 2.6 as im sure there will be lots of adjustments and new options, I think? Could we get more insight into the new stuff for map makers while we wait? The categories are interesting on the image 079, for instance Religious, are there mosques now? Can we expect to see a few new buildings or a lot of new stuff? Are we able to expand on airfields? Create ports? As anything been added that might help us populate built up areas faster? im asking as it might influence my work while I wait. thanks
Moderators Volcano Posted December 3, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 3, 2011 The new categories are as much for future expansion as they are to organize the previous unwieldy list of objects. New additions in the upgrade? Bridges, new graphics for all roads (and a new road type: "dirt trail" -- a road that looks like ruts along the ground), new textures for some of the old buildings, and road signs of every sort are the new additions, along with easier access with the nice new object list.

companyteam
IRT Inf and buildings - any chance of a change in the future to enable inf to enter through any door and/or any window? Current models seem to have only limited number of entries, where in reality entry could be made anywhere - even explosively through walls if required. Similar issues for fences - inf should be able to cross almost anything, with possible exception of high hesco style walls and high t-wall.
Members Ssnake
Since you're asking for "any" chance - yes, there is one.
