CalAB
Does anyone know if the gunner is lasing consistently from the Leopardo2E when one is sitting in the TC's position? The reason I ask is that after conducting some training with the TC I noticed that the gunner was missing shots on a static target from 1000 meters and under. When I moved to the gunner slot and brought up the GPS I was on max mag with TIS enabled but the target distance was reading 500 meters further away than it should have been. I was getting frustrated when after bringing the gunner to my target on the TIM and handing back control he would miss the shot repeatedly. In any event I love the new Juggernaut, it's more or less superman on the field in SBPro PE.
Hackworth
was anything obstructing the area around the target? bad lase? another thought i just had...i didn't have my gunnery rating set up for "Feißmann" -- my player name in game. so, my AI gunners were shooting like shit. what is default? like a 70 or 75% rating? um, i've kept a 100% for a decade now almost  (im not bashful about that, am i?!), so i hit the range this morning and fixed the world.perhaps you haven't completed gunnery training so your AI is shooting crappy? just a thought.i know the ASLAV-25 has a real issue with aiming low on targets. i imagine it's already fixed -- i know it's reported. hmmm, but i's the Leo2E. off to the range again with me then!yes, tis a bad ass tank.

The Spanish Army doesn't use (or plan to use) DM12.Consequently if you add the HEAT rounds to a scenario, then you need to fire them using the same technique that the real gunner's would have to employ - firing using half the target range on HE-T scale. Unfortunately while this works perfectly for the human gunner, the AI is a noob, and needs to do a refresher course in gunnery with non-standard ammunition. :cul:For now, avoid using HEAT, and give the Leo 2E only the following ammunition types:DM33 (APFSDS obsolescent)DM33 PELE (Fragmenting KE round - used instead of DM12 - good for fortifications/buildings/APC)CL3143 (APFSDS)/DM53 (APFSDS)HE-T (High Explosive, Slsgr 95 round - used instead of DM12 - good for stationary light vehicles, infantry in the open, ATGM teams etc.)Cannister is also usable, but I'm not sure if the Spanish are using this ammunition nature.
Hackworth
oh my... i hate that HEAT round. i was on the range just goofing around. it took me two tries to hit 10/10, but my engagement time was 6 seconds!!!!! about half of my targets were engaged with that Slogger69 ammo, or whatever it's called. and yes, i was trying to "race" the TC before he could call HEAT on targets other than tanks. the arch on that is like a ballistic missle, like shooting V-2's at tanks. i swear that HE sucks on moving targets. i amazed myself just getting the 10/10 -- screw the time!... lol.but, i didn't see any issues with lasing, or not striking the intended range, etc... what kind of ammo are you using in your 2E? the default load out or did you goof with it?anyway, my favorite tank to quali with is the Leo2A4 or the M1.
CalAB
was anything obstructing the area around the target? I was trying to pop the turret on a T72 defending a position behind a hill, that probably explains a few things.perhaps you haven't completed gunnery training so your AI is shooting crappy? No I've done the training and have 100% but Lt.Default was gunning for me.The Spanish army Leo2E only have ballistic data for DM33, HE-T and CL3143/DM53 available in tank, and adding DM12 would be a depot level maintenance task if possible at all (Leo 2 ballistic data is hard coded, not software as in the M1 and there are fewer available slots). The Spanish Army doesn't use (or plan to use) DM12.I believe I was using default A for ammunition but I'm not certain as I overwrote the data. I typical switch the KE to DM53. Thanks for your help gents.

Hackworth
...No I've done the training and have 100% but Lt.Default was gunning for me. ... correct me if i'm wrong someone, but doesn't your gunnery rating still apply to your AI controlled units, including the gunner in your own tank if you are in another position (TC or driver)? i guess that's what i was getting at Cal. if you have 100%, your AI gunner should be a good shot so, that can't be the problem. but even a good shot can occupy a bad positions where the target is too obstructed to get a good lase. i'm betting on the hill in front of the target. i haven't played the 2E that much yet, but after reading this spent a lot of time gunning it on the range. with a standard loadout, it seems fine, frigin sweet standard sabot ammo in fact.

I'm guessing we all get a choice on .sce start up as to whom we want to be, Lt default or whatever. In the interest of being flipping fast seeing as I had way better things to do(like getting the dive planner together for me and my son so we can ace the open water section of the PADI) I chose Default and ripped up a road at max speed letting the stupid AI gummer bite the shit. Bad mistake. Never ever let the comp gun for you ever.......
MOAMarksman
Speaking of gunnery ratings... Lets say you score 100% on the range with M1A1(HA). Does that rating carry over to your AI gunner when using any other type of tank's, TC station?
