I have always used a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro joystick as a control which I love. Now it does not work with my new pc as it is windows 11. Any advice

I'm guessing you have looked at the Logitech web site to see if there is a driver update for Windows 11?

Let me google that for you.

Seriously, these kinds of questions shouldn't be asked until you tried out a couple of things that a simple internet search will yield immediately.

That was not my intent. For I have no use for this hardware.

I was just wondering, as Razor requires a connection to it's server before their software will run correctly on your PC. And if their server is not up your out of luck till next time you boot-up or reboot and it took me sometime to get a straight answer from them.

I hope Logitech does not behave in this manner.

Yea I guess that is the bad side getting a new pc. Your devices do not work with the newer operating system. Yea logitech does not have updates for there older items...Does anyone else use joysticks as a controller and if so which one thanks

I fully agree, an "always on" requirement for a peripheral device, no matter which, is an absolute No Go.

Privacy considerations aside, corporations simply can't be trusted to uphold indefinite service promises. Insofar you buy something with built-in obsolescence irrespective of the qualities of the hardware itself.

However, before we're all losing our minds, maybe someone should check if that's, y'know, actually true. Because, nothing in the video above suggests that this would be the case.
