F.T
Can anyone with a background in a tank crew describe it?

I have a Cavalry background and from what I can tell its pretty good. Of course it not 100% because that requires a lot of dynamic modeling.
Members Ssnake
Real life terrain tends to have more variation, especially when the sun is shining. Small water puddles will reflect the sky, moist earth appears cool from the water evaporation, and depending on the type some soils will warm up and cool down faster than others ("thermal inertia"). But, moving pictures say more than 10,000 words, so I can but recommend to search Youtube for examples like this:

F.T
Probably because there is no obvious heat source, the picture looks and feels like visible light imaging, you can see a lot of details of the ground, but the tone is very simple.
RedWardancer
The Thermals on the M2A2 are accurate. The turret stabilization is not.

RedWardancer
Ah. Turret stabilization on the Bradleys had been discussed on a different thread. I should have left it there...heheh. However, the thermals on the Bradleys as depicted in SB is quite accurate to reality. I give SB credit for that.
Members Ssnake
Maybe you can provide a link? Otherwise I can only guarantee that probably nothing will be done about it.

If you can provide a scenario link which can demonstrate that misbehaving, and describe how it should be in reality, Ill be happy to test it. Its what we do.
