I. SITUATION.

 

Rebel forces rapidly attacked into the area, quickly routing local security forces and seizing critical infrastructure, to include the Buseni airstrip and Moyalo Rail Depot.

 

The rebels are organized into three Fighter Groups (each at Battalion-sized strength).

Fighter Group 1 is equipped with technicals and jeeps mounted with heavy weapons - this includes recoiless rifles and Automatic Grenade Launchers. This element will mostly likely serve as a reconnaissance force, used to locate our forces and disrupt our movement into the AO.

 

The second Fighter Group is an armored force of light Scorpion Tanks and M113s equipped with recoiless rifles. We expect Fighter Group 2 to act in support of Fighter Group 1, with defenses established nearby scout observation posts as well as local counter-attacks.

 

Fighter Group 3 is the rebel tank force, and consists of three companies of T-55 tanks. We expect to see Fighter Group 3 used as a mobile reserve, and employed as a decisive force to destroy our forces.

 

The rebel force is also supported by a Heavy Weapons Group and a Support Element along with a reserve consisting of a company of BTR-80s. The Heavy Weapons Group is equipped with medium ranged mortar systems and ZU-23 anti-air defenses and will most likely be scattered across the map to support Fighter Group 2.

 

The Support Element is limited in size, and are relying on the Moyalo Rail Depot in the north to ferry supplies into the area.

 

II. MISSION.

 

Attack to destroy rebel forces in the area in order to restore the security posture of the region.
