M1A2 SEP Range Flashing between 4000 and 5000 meters

The Range Symbols in the GPS are flashing between 4000 and 5000 meters even though it is still within the Ballistic Solution Ranges.

Thanks, yes, the good news is that it looks like its a visual issue only (like you said).

The FCS still calculates out to 5000m, but range flashes between 4000-5000m (like on the M1 / M1A1s).

Thanks for the verification. I checked the lead and range after the video but since you can see all the goodies on the backend.

So yes this seems like just a mistake when we reworked all the glowing reticles and symbols, which was a major and extensive project and easy to miss something,  but the good news is that this should hopefully be an easy fix.

 

(Although it might also mean that some other vehicles that might have similar visual issues to their symbology too, so it's something for everyone to keep an eye out for if something looks like it is not visually behaving correctly.) 🔎

This should be fixed now for a patch.

 

(In case anyone wonders how these things happen, it had to do with a process called refactoring to make things more efficient and, well, things are sometimes interconnected).
