Desert Knife – by Revenant This scenario has the player control a single Donovian T-72B3 Platoon as part of an Armor Company conducting a combined arms breach. It is designed to be easy and completed in approximately 30 minutes. Features of this scenario include: - An entirely scripted combined arms breach, including suppression, obscuration, and reduction executed by the AI. The player is responsible for securing the near side of the breach and assaulting an objective on the far side. - The use of ATGMs fired from the T-72B3 at long-range tank targets. - Familiarization with using micro-terrain to establish a hasty defense. - Engaging tank and IFVs using the T-72B3's fire control system at long and medium ranges (approximately 4,000 to 3,000 meters). Feedback on this scenario may be sent to the author at steelbeasts.com (Mirzayev) or via Discord (revenant_mz). Special thanks to Colebrook and Higgs for testing and feedback.

A decisive engagement is when a unit is fully committed and cannot maneuver or extricate itself. The action must be fought to a conclusion and won or lost with the forces at hand. This scenario is set during the Russo-Ukrainian War in late 2023 and features a Russian armor company detachment conducting an assault against a Ukrainian mechanized company team conducting a deliberate defense. This scenario features extensive use of drones by the Ukrainian defenders. This scenario is designed to present a challenge to experienced players. This scenario aims to be run as a tactical decision game that can be completed from planning to the AAR within 70 minutes. The recommended timeline for this format is below: Planning - 20 minutes. Execution - Approximately 40 minutes. AAR - 10 minutes. Feedback on this scenario may be sent to the author at steelbeasts.com (Mirzayev) or via Discord (revenant_mz). Special thanks to Apocalypse, ben, Dusty926, and TallTankie for testing and feedback.
